Water awareness is essential in Australia as our lifestyle embraces spending time in and around water. Infant drowning is the number one cause of preventable death in Australia for children under five.
The Learn to Swim program at SSLC begins with parent and child classes and progresses through every level of swimming and ability. Mastery of the skills of each grade is marked by a certificate acknowledging the child’s success and the lifesaving skills which have been acquired.
