SWIM SCHOOL ENTRY PASSES
On payment of lessons, each student will receive a Swim School Pass. This needs to be presented each week at the Service Desk in order to gain entry. Lost or stolen cards will incur a $5.00 replacement card fee. One adult spectator per Swim School student is permitted entry into the Centre free of charge to supervise their children (this excludes adult swimming classes).
MAKE UP LESSON POLICY/ CANCELLATIONS
If a lesson cannot be attended, the Swim School Office requires 24 HOURS NOTICE or a Doctor's Certificate to be eligible for a make up lesson. Exceptions will not be made so we kindly ask that you adhere to the policy to avoid disappointment of refusal.
A make up lesson is on a different day, arranged as a replacement for a missed lesson, which the Swim School has been notified about. These are not always beneficial, as you will not always have the same instructor. Therefore it is advisable to always attend your class.
A maximum of two make up lessons per term will be permitted. Make up lessons are subject to availability and there is NO credit/refund for monies paid for lessons not attended.
MEDICAL CONSIDERATONS
Please inform the Swim School Office of any medical considerations that the student may have. This information is important to the instructor to be aware of the safety of yourself and others.
ASSESSMENTS AND PROGRESSION
Students have been placed in an appropriate level for their ability and progress is monitored throughout the term by your instructor. If you are concerned about your grading please see the Swim School office. A re-assessment cannot be guaranteed due to the number of assessments, but we will do our best to accommodate you.
Each level has a checklist of skills that must be accomplished in order to progress to the next level. It is up to the Swim School Assessor to whether all the skills have been achieved to a satisfactory standard.
PARKING
Parking has been provided on Sans Souci Wharf opposite the park. Under no circumstance is parking permitted outside the leisure centre. Council rangers will issue parking tickets to all cars not permitted.
CAFÉ
The Leisure centre café is open for all patrons between 8am-6pm. Commercial, fast-food take away foods are not permitted. Sans Souci leisure centre caters for all food & beverage needs.
